Siesta Key August 2007

Grandmother & Grandfather Bohlen spoiled us all by giving us a little vacation on Siesta Key. We had so much fun...but I think Luke had the most fun! His vocabulary now contains all the beach words....beach, bird, pool, sand, sun, boat, and some other Luke words :) We were so happy to relax after the two months previous to this...Patrick is recovering wonderfully from his surgery, and we are blessed to have healthy bodies. God really helped to open my eyes to not take for granted my health and the wonderful way that I can go and do whenever I want. I will always have a special place in my heart for people who have long stays in the hospital...it will always be remembered as a life changing event...and we still have yet to fully recover from it all.

Aunt Julie Graduates!

We celebrated Auntie Julie's Graduation with some Lukie fun!

We visited the Morningside Nature Park, where there is a historical farm & farm house from the 1870's! Luke saw all the farm animals....he likes the newborn lambs most of all!

Moran's
In contemporary Christianity there is an essential difference between belief and faith. Our religious beliefs are the visible expression of our faith, our personal commitment to the person of Jesus. However, if the Christian beliefs inherited from our family and passed on to us by our church tradition are not grounded in a shattering, life-changing experience of Jesus as the Christ, then the chasm between our credal statements and our faith-experience widens and our witness is worthless. The gospel will persuade no one unless it has so convicted us that we are transformed by it - B. Manning

Life's Narrator

My flesh is weak but my spirit is willing. Jesus thinks I'm beautiful. Knowing Him is eternal life for me. When I die, all I have to take is love.
