Luke's first Easter

It's spring and the flowers are still blooming outside Luke's window! We enjoyed our beautiful Easter with a wonderful morning celebration at Grace. The service was outstanding in our new worship sanctuary! The church was decorated with Easter lillies...so pretty! We took a picture with our friend Andrea Hart. That evening we had a fabulous dinner with our dear friends Mark & Abbie, and Jay and Susan! Auntie Abbie gave Luke lots of rubber duckies so he can play in the tub!

Grandfather Moran visits!

Luke met his Grandfather for the first time April 9! Both were so excited to see each other! Here are some pictures of the nice time spent together.

Go Gators!

Mommy, Daddy, and Luke went to celebrate the Gator Basketball Team's victory for the 2006 National Championship! Of course Mommy and Luke spent most of the time outside the O'dome because it was WAAAAAAAY too loud...and yes, he slept the most of the time :) But we were excited for the Gators!! One of the reporters for the local TV 20 news fell in love with Luke...and asked if she could interview Patrick and Luke! They were on the local news that night!

Happy 3 Months to Luke!

Here's the new news about our darling little man. Now that he's three months today...he is weighing in at 17 lbs! He is experimenting with all kinds of new sounds that he can create and he loves to hear his own voice! Luke loves to look at vibrant colors now...and sometimes this gets him in trouble, especially when it takes Mommy and hour and a half to put him to bed! He is growing all the time!! We have purchased an ocean CD that he goes to bed to everynight that he loves! His hair is coming in and it seems to be blonde but sometimes reddish in the sunlight. His eyes have stayed a deep blue...maybe they will stay? Oh and in case you were wondering...his feet are still big too :) Mommy and Daddy are starting to get used to being parents...it's all a wonderful experience!

Moran's

Moran's
In contemporary Christianity there is an essential difference between belief and faith. Our religious beliefs are the visible expression of our faith, our personal commitment to the person of Jesus. However, if the Christian beliefs inherited from our family and passed on to us by our church tradition are not grounded in a shattering, life-changing experience of Jesus as the Christ, then the chasm between our credal statements and our faith-experience widens and our witness is worthless. The gospel will persuade no one unless it has so convicted us that we are transformed by it - B. Manning

My flesh is weak but my spirit is willing. Jesus thinks I'm beautiful. Knowing Him is eternal life for me. When I die, all I have to take is love.
